For a category leader in the Food industry we developed a MES (Manufacturing Execution System) that collects data from lines and machines and turns it into operational information: real-time production status, work-order progress and performance indicators, in a single data foundation shared by production and quality.
OEE and downtime management
The system automatically calculates the OEE of every line and machine, combining availability, performance and quality. Downtime is recorded and classified through a configurable cause tree, enabling precise analysis of the sources of inefficiency.
Up-to-date reports and production KPIs make it possible to spot bottlenecks and measure the effect of improvements, shift after shift.
Digital quality, from checklist to PDF
Paper quality checklists were replaced by digital ones filled in directly on the line, with automatic PDF generation and centralized archiving.
Every check is traceable and searchable: an audit or a customer inspection no longer requires hours of digging through binders.
